Before this, i had almost believed that you were the best friend. I guess i was wrong. Till now, no one can fully understand me. And you're no exception.

I need to reassess many stuff. I'm not your subordinate, you need to treat me like a co-worker at least. I need constructive feedback, not your complains.

In this post, I'll just name my two friends A and B and a group C.

It's been a while since I felt this way. Before that, I had always thought that I had the best friend in the world. It only became clear that they are but just my own illusions. I won't deny that A was always there when I needed him the most, in most occassions. But that was not possible without much preparations, like informing him a couple of weeks in advance.

I was browsing for quotes and came across this saying, "I value a friend who, for me, find time in his calendar, but I cherish a friend who, for me, does not consult his calendar."

How true? I appreciate A. He always find time for me. While I acknowledge that we are friends of a very long time, I can't deny that our friendship is indeed on a bumpy ride. Anyhow, it is because he always find time for me that I valued him more than any other friends. However, I cherish true friends more because they are the ones who, without second thought, make time for me.

It was indeed the hardest weeks when I hadn't texted A, out of angst or maybe I was simply throwing tantrum. Days passed and soon two weeks passed, only to become clearer that he was only a friend who knows me better, who knows me long enough. In the two weeks, I received not a single message nor call. Until the day he left, I was completely clueless. Had I been one of his best friend, he would have asked me out or initiate a conversation or something during the two weeks, he could have told me he is departing, but nope. Nothing. I wasn't even important enough to send him off or see him depart.

Thankfully, the people sitting up there wasn't all that inhumane. I was bestowed another friend. This friend, I would never ave thought of mingling with someone like him, because he was always on high profile in the camp. He probably wouldn't even notice my existence.

I vividly remember that we were in the parade square in the first few weeks of our new unit, and for some reason, I asked why he was always so cheerful and smiling all the time even when the commanders are obviously picking on him. Apparently, his smile to every situation was a false impression but that was besides the point. I guess if i hadn't popped that question, making the first move, it would have taken a different turn. For all you know, we could remain just as platoon mate and our friendship never go beyond that.

Fast forward, all it takes was five months, B had already figured out a lot about me. Not everything, but that was good effort; at least he bothered to find out more about me than A, of nine years. How impressive; how sad?

I guess this was the difference: For A, i was the person putting in the effort to make the connection, but for B, he was the person who puts in the effort and his dealings with me felt sincere. At least the rejection rate is lower (haha).

Maybe it's the vision that we had in common, maybe it's the interest that we had in common, or perhaps it was just pure luck for me, we seem to have became a better friend of each other as days progresses, and I think we had already become best friends.

Certainly, A and B both have a cherry and charismatic character, I believe they both are born leaders. But when I was with the latter, I felt safe, I felt assured and I felt engaged.

Sometimes, we don't talk, but it wasn't awkward silence because I don't have to think about a topic to talk about. Silence was probably for us to rest and we continue talking just naturally. Topics just flow naturally. More importantly, he is a friend I can rely on wihtout a second doubt. I know whatever that I do, he will guide me and protect me (and my interest). This is the kind of friend that is hard to come by in our era where everyone is trapped in a rat race. But, what makes things sad was that this is the kind of bond I could not find in A.

I think I need to distinguish a friend of long time from a friend of lifetime. A, along with C, I would probably be in contact with them, and they are obviously a friend of long time. B is definitely a lifetime friend. Because for someone who's constantly giving advice, who is sincere in his dealings, and who does not consult his calendar, I think we share a friendship beyond anyone's comprehension.

For that, I really thank god for a chance to this wonderful friend who share too much in common with me, and more importantly, who gives me a helping hand unconditionally. I also thank god for a group of friends who lasted 9 years and counting.

I guess a partner's next? haha!

Everytime I think of writing a blog article, I'm struggling real hard, because whenever I hit the New Post button, I am just stunned. I don't feel like writing anymore.

I guess I'm kind of in a month of rocky mood. I begin questioning myself, am I important to anyone at all? I keep telling myself to be contented with what I have. I have two great friends, I always feel that they are important to me. Then, this question came recently; Am I important to them? I can't answer this question because I don't feel my presence important at all because it didn't matter to them. If it had, I would have received messages asking why I was so quiet recently.

In bunk, I felt happy because my mind was pre-occupied with conversations. But I can't truly feel happy, especially so when I wake up in the morning with nothing in my mind. I would feel that emptiness in me, again.

While I don't know Gordon as much as I do for some, or even as long as others, his constant asking me of going to his birthday party meant something for me. I can't tell if he asked me because of other reasons or because I am important because I am his friend. But at least I felt his sincerity and he really wish I could celebrate this joyous occassion with him. At least he remembers to invite me.

Now, I'm not trying to say I lack of friends. I think I have tried real hard to keep some people I thought was important in my life, the joy we spent, the memories we had. Yes, I may seem as though I am begging for a friend, but I'm done trying. I quit trying. I can't always be begging when I have no lack of friends. Neither would I put it in a way that I am very important. Well, truth is, there is no need for me to beg others to be with me.

I guess it's time I shift my attention to something else. Apparently, there is just so much friends are able to help. In fact, I am quite amazed by how a person can read me so well in just that short 4 months. I guess he is the only one person who understands me best to date because no one, absolutely no one, can read me like a book.

It's time I show some confidence, it's time I show the world who the boss is. And this time, I am serious about the change. There is no turning back.

Thought it was kind of interesting last night, it was my first time i spent like mad! First we had dinner at Modesto, an italian restaurant along Orchard. The food served are crazy. Pretty authentic western food, portion wise... Can be a little ridiculous at some point. One of their best dishes were the codfish. If you're not a big eater, NEVER NEVER NEVER order their Linguine Alla Modesto. The serving size is atrocious! I'm not one who appreciates wine, but I must say their Chianti is pretty much a fine red wine. I thought it smelt nice, but it could have been better if the alcohol concentration is lowered. Probably it's just me, I can't really appreciate wine as I've said.

Spent a total of $369.50 for all five of us (Nicole, Hui Min, Benjamin, Carson, Me). At night, we planned on going up to Marina Bay Sands' (MBS) roof to watch the Singapore's marvellous night view but ended up at the basement of MBS's. Had a tea session at TWG's. The tea isn't bland at all, but it isn't overly concentrated. I think I had a great experience of tea at TWG. Service was awesome and the Scones, although I felt extorted having to pay $9 for two scones, taste awesome; complemented by its unsweetened whipped cream and lemon lime jelly. Another $103 was contributed to Singapore's economy. After having light snacks and tea, we went out of MBS to get a breather. Cool breezes, beautiful central Singapore. Singapore is indeed a bright country, even at night.

Landed at Safra - Carpenter St. Rented a suite to ourselves and we played Wii. Nice games, great environment! I think I enjoyed the togetherness over the games actually. Haha!

A special day of every year

Going to the hawker centre this morning to get breakfast for my mum and myself, I saw that lively crowd and the happy faces of families dining together. Times have changed indeed, stalls change and even for those that remained, people changed. But it's still the same old lively hawker centre in almost every part of Singapore. Suddenly, it struck my mind that I used to partake in this activity every weekend too. My dad would bring us to a hawker centre to have breakfast and shopping in the noon. I guess all these are now history.

Just came back home after celebrating a joint birthday party of Anita's, Sok Cheng's and mine held at Hui Min's house. It felt weird celebrating my birthday at other people's house but it was fun. At least I know i exist in someone's mind. Was surprised by my present. I got a Fred Perry wallet and a Casio watch. My heart melted instantly. I was delighted to have a bunch of close friends, honestly. 9 years of friendship, how many of us have a good friend of 9 years? Now I can proudly tell the world I have a bunch of good friends. Thanks to the hospitable Hui Min and family, her mum prepared Mee Siam for our dinner; pity my stomach couldn't handle it all. Hui Min also ordered Candian 2-4-1 pizza with chicken wings. Our night ended with doze and doze of liquor accompanied by board games.

Just before going to Hui Min's house, had lunch with Wei Li, Yi Mian, Hong Boon, Jun Jie and Joo Chun at Marina Square's Yuki Yaki buffet restaurant. I swear I could barely walk a mile after eating. I was simply too full! After lunch, we head towards Suntec City's arcade. There Jun Jie showed his excellent basket balling skills on the machine. I think he ended with 700 over points. The rest of us sat on the Daytona machine to compete in a race. I was second (or was it third?) in the first round and finally caught up with that slight luck as the first in the second round. After that, we headed back to Marina Square once more to catch I am Number Four.

Movie was awesome except that little bit of boredom at the beginning of the show. Anyhow, Lorenz and my buddy joined for the movie too. After movie, Yi Mian droved us to Safra Mount Faber because some of use needed to purchase stuff from emart. Wow, I swear Yi Mian is hell of a person who is very neat and tidy. His vehicle is clean not just on the exterior, but interior too. I think cleanliness has to be trained from young and I think his parents had done a great job on that. Or probably that's just his character... haha!

Larry came over to Mount Faber too at night. He ferried my buddy, Wei Li, Lorenz and Hong Boon to some places for dinner while Yi Mian ferried Joo Chun, Jun Jie and I to Potong Pasir as he needs to rush off elsewhere.

What a day to spend my weekends. Damn, nowonder army boys are saying that weekends are darn precious. I wish the next one and a half year would past quickly.

A new beginning

Very soon, this wonderful 1 week of block leave will end and everyone of the 04/10 soldiers will be embarking on their new journey in their respective unit.

When I first saw my posting, I was pretty disappointed. Given my qualification, I could have been a commander, if not an officer. Examining things closer, I pretty much screwed up most of the things like, for example, IPPT. After thinking through for a moment, I thought I was already lucky enough. Some of my friends got into Command School, but they are not offered an Officer course, so that might affect their career in the Army. And for some which are, in my opinion, super unlucky considering this batch has no Guards intake, they are posted as Guardsman.

Nonetheless, I believe there must be a reason I am given this vocation. Whatever it is, I hope Buddha will bless me with all their might for the challenges in the next one and a half years. Till then, it's another beginning.

On a lighter note, yesterday Benjamin, Carson and I went to Yishun to eat Thai food. For those interested, I think the food there taste great complemented with its great service. 701A Yishun Ave 5 (Next to Chong Pang CC).

It seemed like yesterday that I had just enlisted into the army. I recalled the moment I boarded the bus to SAF Ferry Terminal, followed by the boarding of the Penguin Fast Craft to Pulau Tekong and the rest were even worse.

The Army, as much as any Singaporean Son dreaded, isn't really that bad as what most mentioned; at least not at this stage. I am proud to say that I have completed my Basic Military Training and now a confident soldier.

Having that said, BMT isn't easy per se. It came along with many effort made by each and every recruit. It came along with lots of unnecessary reprimanding of the commanders. Most importantly, it came along with lots of patience and understanding to embrace one another. One cannot fight alone in any battle, same goes for training. Looking at the amount of different ordeals we've gone through, I would definitely say that my interpersonal skills are now better.

In fact, I made new friends. These are people of different walk of life, different family backgrounds, different stories to tell of themselves. Yet, we've overcame all the difficulties to help one another go through this 19 weeks of BMT.

Then came our first high key, the Field Camp. I recalled how people used to tell me how terrible field camp was, well, to that extent, it's truly tough. Honestly, if you were to ask me if I like field camp now after having gone through it, my answer is definitely a big NO! You see, the thing is, we as human had been continuously thinking of ways to disconnect with mother nature, and thankfully we had succeeded, it's just too overwhelming for me to reconnect with nature again. Not only that, imagine the days outfield without bed, shower and proper rationing. What's worse, roaches and exotic insects everywhere. Thankfully, I had a great buddy who helped me with the "candy wrapping" of our bags. He also helped me collected combat ration and even dug part of my trench. Before field camp, I had always though of my buddy as a decently selfish man.

I recalled vividly the minute we reached coy line. It's as if we've finally seen light at the end of a dark tunnel. I swear I've never missed company line so much. Not to mention, that eight inch bed SAF had given us. For the first time in four days, we've finally had so much of admin time and to cleanse ourselves with clean water. For the first time in four days, we've finally had the chance to use commercial products again. For the first time in four days, we've finally had he opportunity to make phone calls. The first person I called is my mum. Followed by non-stop messages to friends.

Overall, i felt that field camp was a great learning point for me, never to judge a book by its cover. After that, it's all the magical work, I'm pretty much closer to my buddy.

Then came the day 8 January 2011, the big day of all 04/10 graduands. There we are, standing proudly in front of our parents and superiors doing marches and parade. It is our first, our one and only, passing out parade of the lifetime. Just before running out for the last time to do our BMTC roar, I had mix feelings in me. I was about to cry, but my happiness snatched the spotlight. After throwing my jockey cap, my buddy came over and we gave each other a hug. He cried, but I'm sure it's tears of happiness.

Blinded

By the title, I meant that many of us, at least people in developed countries, are often so busy that we are blinded; well, at least Singaporeans are. We are so used to getting everything fast, we seemed to think that what we want is always what we get; or put it simply, an entitlement. Have we forgotten how to differentiate entitlement from privileges?

I am guilty of being blinded. In fact, I think I'm being obsessively compulsive. In what way? I'm obsessive about my friends. I wasn't aware of this till today. Before today, I'm constantly in a mood swing because I couldn't get things to go the way I wanted it to. In fact, I was so obsessive with being with my best friends, I had forgotten how to meet new friends. You see, I have the urge to see my buddies and when I am declined, i felt sad. Have I given them enough trust? I think I had, but i feel that the truth is, i hadn't. Being best friends shouldn't be about guessing each other's feelings and thoughts, we should have mutual understanding. I think that my best friends have always considered my feelings but I have never reciprocated. I just keep wanting more when they accede to a certain request of mine. And when I am declined for something, my mood just change. I have been blinded by this for 21 years (maybe only the recent years).

Still I am grateful that I have that few friends who are always with me whenever I needed them the most. THANK YOU.

For what seems like a couple of seconds, 2010 had passed us. Oblivious to the passing of time, I'm embarking on the 22nd year of my life. I thank the deities for bestowing my family. I thank deities for bestowing the many friends I have. Friends; best friends are people whom chose to be with you when they would rather be somewhere else. Perhaps I am lucky, maybe I'm pathetic; compared to many who claimed to have an abundance of friends, at least I have that one friend who will never walk out on me and listen to me. Many a times, I feel that I am different from others in every way, from the way i perceive things to my preference, I am very glad I have that one friend standing by me for 9 long years.

Thankfully, I have some close friends in the past 9 years. God had been kind to me, people who have many friends might never find true friends like I did. God sent them to me when I entered Secondary School. Ever since then, I have never had better friends. The people I know these days are either nonchalant about my existence or they are wearing a mask.

2010 marks a major milestone of my life. I graduated in 2010 wih a Merit in my diploma. I personally feel that graduating with a merit meant quite something, at least I'm the top 10% of the cohort for my field of study. I also travelled the most number of time in a given year of my life this year. The luckiest, perhaps, was winning a fully expenses paid trip to Silicon Valley organized by IDA. The one thing etch on my mind, however, was being offered a job as a Mobile Application Developer; coding, but something I've never done before. The last in the list, however, is definitely to enlist into army. But army hadn't been that bad thus far, and sadly, i'm gonna miss this phase of army because i'll be posting out soon.

Just had breakfast cum lunch cum dinner with my sister and mother at east coast park. It's like 29+ per pax! But it's an ala carte buffet, quite nice. But now i'm regretting, why didn't i pick more just now =( I'm suddenly so hungry now...

Youngsters these days, (btw, i'm not VERY old ok! I'm also young!), they are attached so early.. i wonder where they get all the money to spend when they are not even working to save up. And if they really like each other, and have chemistry, fine. But will they end up doing silly things like pre-marital sex? Anyways, none of my concern.

In another light to this issue, i think i envy these people too. They have relationship so early.. But for me, i think i'll not go into relationship, not yet. I think i want to build my own financial pilar first. In this ever changing society, nothing beats having a few cents in your pocket. Family second it though. I think friends would be third priority and relationship 4th.

Of course, i wouldn't block any coming my way, would i? Haha! Actually i only felt my heart racing against time ONCE in my entire life. Honestly, when i said i like someone, i meant it, but it never felt like that. I only told 1 person about the story, and i think i am ready to tell, although ultimately i don't know the other party. haha!

There was once in the train, this girl fell aslp and i was like, sitting beside her. Normally, and i believe most of you would, when someone is sleeping and like coming closer to your shoulder, you would like "zzzk". But that was the only time i really want to lend her my shoulder. I don't even know who she is. LOL! My heart was pumping like mad.. But heck, it's all gone =) and in the end it was so close for her head to touch my shoulder, and she woke up. haha!

If i ever found my partner, i will give her my everything (except money).

Weeeeeee! Attachment is officially over! I hope everyone will enjoy attachment though. Haha, as i am typing this post, something interesting happened below my house. Cat fight, as in real cats. Not those women quarreling. Haha, i can hear the screaming.

Anyways, I am pretty lucky to got the CEO's approval to extend my intern (as a temp staff) on the last day of my intern; My OIC actually called me to spread the good news to me. Well, i was away in another department to do something else for the company.

Before i continue further, i figured this is pretty important afterall, i am a singporean, Happy Belated Birthday Singapore!

Anyways, I'm very very very very very elated because my OIC gave me excellent for student feedback and excellent for my report. In my remarks:

Aloysius has demonstrated maturity of character, technical ability,
resourcefulness and capcity to learn quickly in order to work independently. He
has contributed significantly through his handling of Baby Bonus matters and
developing of prototype for remote application on OCBC's unsecured internet
banking site. We wish him success in his future endeavours.

WEEEEEE.. Unfortunately no appraisal YET. =.= Actually i had wanted to put a picture of my feedback form, but.. i guess i'm really lazy person. Haha!

I felt pretty lucky, my oic bought both Yi Jie and I each a GV Gift Card worth S$28.00 and S$10 Starbucks gift vouchers.

Over the 12 weeks, i always thought i just want to scrape through this whole thing asap smoothly. I always guard myself against other people. But I was wrong, i've met new friends. My gain is more than just what i wanted. I've grown closer to people whom i never expect to meet. Unfortunately, it's all too late to realise that now. Our internship has ended. Forutnately, though, we still get to meet each other in school when the semester starts again. And probably in army too. I guess i really made 2 great buddies (and brothers) unlike others.

My 6th Week

Time flies. This is my 6th week in OCBC. How fast. Anyways, this has been a super duper busy week. With Yi Jie on leave for 1 full week, you really can't imagine how much i suffered since monday. Not because i am taking over his work, BUT CHECKING SOME STUPID stuff. Classified. Some people are really terrible, they have no integrity at all.

Anyways, this is the company i am working for,

Yeap, this better looking building is my office. You know, recently I was on roadshow here and there. When i spoke to PFCs, and when i told them, OCBC Centre East, the first thing they will say is: Oh that high-class place ah? I was quite shocked! After taking this picture, i truly understands why they made that comment. By the way, i have a mini-garden which was on the right, it's not shown in the picture.. LOL!

I have been telling you busy busy busy. can't imagine yea?

These are all the paper work i have to check since tuesday after meeting. KB is right, this week i've attended a lot of meeting. Meeting finish, rush these works, rush finish work, go to another tower to meet some PFC boss. I've been doing this for the whole week. Tiring you know! By the way, think that's little work? look at this..

PAYDAY!

In an hour's time, IT'S PAYDAY! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Above is my first payslip from OCBC! Not much, afterall i had a day off.

Wow, it's been quite a while since i blogged. Had been really busy with my intern. WOOTS! I like where i am attached. Oversea-Chinese Bank Corporation!

I'm working at Wealth Management, Deposits. Basically i'm handling all the deposits products and yeap, that's about the best i can say. I hope by telling you guys the department i worked in is not classified. Haha! But truly, working at OCBC had really given me BIG time opportunity to understand the banking system even better. At least i now understand more of the banking products.

Anyways, for those who are still in the dark, I've actually won the 3rd prize in this very huge competition organized by Microsoft, Imagine Cup 2009. It's a national challenge and we made it to the 2nd runners-up. Wee! It's like my first time winning a national round la! I'm finally recognized, 3rd in Singapore leh! Haha!

Anyways, so glad that my lenovo x200 finally arrived on 3rd June 2009. It's really super duper light! Like 1.4kg only! And even with battery, it's not at all heavy, enough for 1 hand to carry and still move around.

Haha! Finally, my cute nephew! He's finally like.. 6months old!

Imagine Cup Singapore 2009

5th June 2009, Friday, marks the end of a wonderful journey for me. From the team formation, to generating ideas, to writing proposal, to coding the prototype, to presenting in the semi final, to making it to the finals and to preparing the finals. Each iteration has its own story. While we are not crowned the first, it has gone far beyond the goal of winning. It is the learning experience, the friendship we fostered during the short 3 months not just with my team mates, but also our supervisor cum mentor. Truly, Imagine Cup has really brought the competition to a whole new level; not just competing, but learning from our own knowledge and beyond.

It is indeed a though thing to learn at first. The transition from our knowledge of web based solution to application based solution is a huge jump. We have totally no one to get help from and all our proposed idea were seemingly impossible at first. Thankfully, we had a big group of people behind us, backing us with their technical know-how giving us directions while we focus on providing quality solutions. Thank you very very much.

We may not have won the first. But to me, we are already a winner, we have a group of people who nominated us in people's choice. Others may have the greatest idea, the best solution, smartest alec, prettiest girl, you name it; but do they have a ready team to endorse and support their product? I won something. I won knowledge, i won friendship, i won a great experience, and most importantly, I won a very real life skill that many locals lost: the ability to present well and market your product. While I am not the best marketeer as per result, I think to market our product so far is a great acheivement. Afterall, we are the 3rd best Singapore team.

Very briefly, let me just tell you an interesting thing about my team mates. While our main task is to code a proper solution, we are made up with each member specializing in a specific area that complements one another.

WEEE! Imagine cup's finally ended. Some overdue photos..Anyways, before i go on to say about my competition, I just ordered a new notebook to replace my current! I really don't wish to. Afterall, this laptop has been trhough with me for over 3 semesters and i depend on it a lot during final presentation. Without this laptop, things starts to go the wrong way, murphy starts visiting us. Like how we screwed up for distinction presentation. Anyway, that's another story i do not wish to talk about, because if we did not respect the panel, the panel did not respect us either.

Anyways, for finals, the first set of judges weren't very keen on our products. Perhaps they aren't keen on any other teams as well. But whatever. With Imagine Cup Finals coming this Friday, I'm finally free enough to blog.
Unfortunately, this week is pretty sad. Within just a few hours, i lost a dad. I regret not having the chance to say sorry for my bad temper whenever he ask me to help him with things. Nonetheless, i'm glad at least i helped him, though i was bad at temper. Some people don't even get a chance to help their late family members.

The moment he left us, suddenly i realised how much he's changed. He's so haggard. I realised how much he suffered too, from cancer. I couldn't help but burst into tears. Even knowing he's physically weakened, he still works to give me allowance.

The day when he was cremated, pictures flashes in my mind. Many Many pictures, too much. From how he helped me celebrate my birthday when i was at my grandma's house when i was young, to how he buys me food and supper, to how he helped me iron some of my clothes, to how he cooked for us to eat, too many things flashes in my mind. These are things that were rare, but.. i can still remember it, vividly.

When we were to collect his ashes, i suddenly felt life is so unpredictable. One second we're bringing my dad to the hospital, the next, he's gone to a better place; hopefully. I suddenly felt that life is so fragile. And i suddenly am in a loss, and lost too. Someone who is out there to nag at me everyday to study hard and get good result because it's all for my own good, he's no longer there to say that sentence again. Although i dread hearing, but honestly, that's one of the motivation i study harder. But.. life is so unpredictable. This motivation is removed from my life, forever.

Even my dad's death certificate, it carries my phone number.
And even after death, he continued giving me his blessings, i got the attachment company i wanted with the pay i expected, in fact higher.

Whatever it is, i'm already at a loss and I really have nothing more to blame.

I thank my dad for being a nice dad for 20 years of my life, and i would like to say something I've never told him deep in my heart. Dad, I love you. You're my only dad just like mum is my only mum.

Having said that, i would like to extend my utmost appreciation to my supervisor who have helped me with my attendance, group mates who have helped me prepare my presentation script during my absense, course coordinator who approached me regarding my loss and offering help financially, family members who were here for all 3 days to help in the wake, my mother; she's really tired and even though she portray a "can take it" look, i know she's dishearten deep inside too. I also thank Ben (who came on behalf of his family) and Carson who is present during the wake.

In the train..

It's very interesting when you're taking a Singapore train. Simply because there are many things that never failed to amaze or made me fed up. For example, I was in a train and I saw this very young boy, probably in his 16s, holding hands with this seemingly 30 plus auntie. I do not know if they were mother and son or are they an item. Whatever, and this is probably one of the niche interesting things that amazes me.

I was quite taken by "Bishan Interchange". I thought circle line started operation. But no, it was just put into the train as part of the preparation for the operational day. Not only that, something that i couldn't forget. I guess this will be etched in my mind for life! SOMEONE FARTED! It's so damn stinky. So inconsiderate.

Probably the most annoying thing is riding an escalator. SMRT took the initiative to start the "Keep Left, Walk Right" programme and apparently sticked this little signs on the right hand pursuading people to keep left. Some people, i don't know if they are so dumb that they do not know their left and right or are so intellectually dumb that they do not understand simple drawings to keep left. Let's not mention any names, but we all know who they are. (Maybe the 2 largest population in the world? And i definitely don't include Singaporeans in the computation of population)

SMRT had done a great job in catering to the disabled. But are they overdoing it? Or they are so obsessed by profits that they forgot their initial intention? While it is reasonable to remove a row or two of seats from the corner of the train car from each car, it becomes a very disturbing thing when SMRT starts removing their "mainstream" seats. What are the chances of say 10 wheelchair bound getting into the same car? And there are 6 cars per train. So SMRT is saying that there are cases of 60 wheelchair bounded people boarding the train at the same time? Besides, it is already so inconvenient for a disabled to travel point to point, why in the blue moon would anyone roll their wheelchair all the way to the end of the train? Sometimes i do get the misconception that they remove the seats so that they can have a larger intake of commuters per train. So... I think SMRT should really review what they are doing..

Finally, i think i can understand a parent's mind of trying to protect their child or even to "reserve" the seat for their child, and even extra care for whose children are not quite as normal as everyone else. Which is fine, if approached, i would be more than willing to give up my seat for kids. But what irks me was that for the next couple of stations where people are starting to alight, she actually "reserved" the seat for her friend, later for her daughter and for herself. Hello? Something's wrong here... Her daughter is like 16+ and can stand? And definitely not to mention her friend (or even her sibling for that matter). You're being very inconsiderate here. I wonder what happened to Singa the courtesy lion... And forget about "Priority Seat" which apparently failed on these people.

Anyways, i couldn't comment much about buses these days as i seldom board one. But one thing, it is taking forever to board. Because SBS is briefly abbreviated by Slow Bus Service.. HAHA! Neh, just kidding. Don't sue me for that.. But seriously, SBS should review their service schedule before another fine is issued by LTA.

My mood swing is getting from bad to worse lately. Ups and downs, something that happen over the minute. But interestingly, the ups and downs made me notice things i never knew, or i never expected to happen. For instance, i never knew Jax was an approachable person, and i'm not explaining in details due to the sensitivity of the issue.

I am also closer to GF, Hui min, Nicole and Sok Cheng these days. At least i know who i can talk to or find people to tag along with when i want to go out. I also appreciated Ben and Carson's birthday gift a lot. Maybe it is something they would give to anyone else they know, but to me, it's the gift that count. Honestly, i'm quite surprised by what they gave me this year, a Ben Sherman wallet. LOL! It's not super expensive kind, but definitely not cheap. Owe you guys a big thank you.

I also have great family. Sometimes i find it burdensome, sometimes a joy to have, sometimes a financial hub and many other kinds of feelings. But again, isn't that what makes a family? It's not always the ups that brings your family so special. I thank buddha for blessing me with the family background that i am grown up in.

Enough of these sad sad things. Today, the usual routine: late for school, do work, slack, wait for 6pm and rushed my way to vivocity. Buffet with Geng Feng, Nicole, Sok Cheng, Danel and Hui min. $17. Actually, for a price like this and considering the choices, i wouldn't say it's too expensive but definitely not worth my consideration. But the ambience and that PSA scenery and not forgetting the service, i think $17 isn't really that bad afterall. Friendship bonding: priceless.

Damn, had a very bad stomache. Missed the first part of the movie because we were late. Skipped the climax because i had a stomache discomfort. =.="

Went to gloria to have coffee as it was raining day, halehlujah. Saw greg, DAOED me on the spot! Saw Deng Hao and his girlfriend too. Sigh, when's mine? Go out soon yea?

Went Robinsons to use my $50 voucher. Bought myself a pant costing $71 =,= i want to buy more but no moneh!!!!!!!!!!! Fast forward to Plaza Singapura for God knows what reason. Oh, now i remembered, because ben wanted to go POA to get his pants. COPY CATTTT!

Trained to City Hall. Shopping spree again at Topman!! WAKAKAKAKA

Oh man.. There goes my holidays.. Having final year project right now.. and this is my "office".... HAHA! Damn busy with the bleedy proposal.

Public transport fare finally fell, for the first time.

For the first time in Singapore History, or at least to my knowledge, the public transport fare finally took a deep in price. However, is the pathetic 2 cents drop really enough for commuters? Personally, i feel that in a difficult time like this, the government should help its citizen. They do not have to do very big things like reducing the transport fare by 10 cent, all they have to do is to subsidize like 50% of our prevailing bus fare? I think it is good enough. The government gets to help its people and get more votes, the bus operators gets their money to "offset" the "losses" incurred when the oil prices "hikes" (or if you want to blame it on "futures"), the people get to save their on transport.

On a lighter note, i feel that a 2 cent drop is pretty good move. Of course, PTC can consider for even more deep, probably even for Taxis. Did you know i spent 30 bucks stuck in a traffic jam? In the end, by taking a train is actually faster than taking a cab. How can this be possible? Friend, i am rushing for a distinction presentation, and there i am stuck in traffic jam caused by 3 inconsiderate motorist.

And not to mention, budget for 2009. I think it's a good move. You probably would have heard the uncles at coffee shop complaining about how the budget is used for organizations and not on the people. But that's not always true. The government is actually trying to help its people by helping companies to continue operation first. If the company cannot even survive, where are their sons and daughters going to find another job in a time like this if the company they work in cannot survive? So where are their children going to find them money?

But again, WHY IS IT TERTIARY STUDENTS HAVE TO PAY ADULT FARE WHEN JC STUDENTS DO NOT NEED TO?!!??

I can't seem to understand software engineering. Tomorrow's the paper and till now, i am still deciding what technique i should use to study. How do i memorize this module when the lecture note is like, the size of Java last last semester?
Something fascinating that caught my attention this morning, morning train arrives more frequently then during peak hours, morning train is not as crowded, morning trains are SLOW! Really, epic slow!

Something interesting, the last time i ever left house at 6.30 was in Secondary School. I've never left house before 7 ever since i entered poly. I guess it's a reminiscing experience.

Something even more interesting, through Face Book, i actually found a long lost friend in primary school. And you know what? Those whom i always regarded as good friends in primary school, we seldom talk, even if a chat was initiated. They simply don't reply or feign ignorance. Some friends. But i'm kind these days. At least this new found friend bothered to chat. HAHA!

Just because we are guys we have to serve NS, have to do all the shitty jobs.. Whatever happens to the equality of genders. I always thought women wants to be strong. Why aren't they serving NS?

Finally, all ICAs and presentations has ended. There goes all our workload for this semester. Indeed, Year 2 has been a challenging year - at least for people who worked hard. Anyway, exam's coming.. In a week's time i guess. Whatever.. Let's talk about something light, i've got my all new fav. Haha! Instead of the Mitsubishi i, I'm in love with the 2010 (Some call it the 3rd generation) Toyota Prius. Awesome! It's a Hybrid car with many many features.

Cool eh? And look at how spacious it is. My sister's lancer is like an ordinary saloon car, but yet so squeezy. But look how spacious it is in this economic saloon car!

I swear i'm gonna start saving up now and i'm gonna get this car.

And look how nice an uncle i can be... I'm feeding my cute nephew.. Look how different he is since day 1 till now. He's grown a lot..

But whatever, after cracking my head for the whole day, i've finally decided to make a reservation with them and catch up with them this holiday season. =D

Since it's the 200th, i shall not be journalling. Something that amazes me while i was blog hopping today. I noticed that people who are handsome and pretty tends to have more visitors. Let's not blame the readers for being choosey, it's human reaction i guess. I noticed that when i saw an ugly bitch in the blog, my first reaction was hit this: the red X. While if the blogger is good looking, i'll tend to stay and read on. And that's perhaps why people who are better looking earns more. Unfortunately, something more interesting caught my attention: plastics. I realised that when i finally know that a person whose face aren't real, i'll feel very disgusted. Like, maybe, DY. No names mentioned, FYI. Next, people who are out of the crowd - Lao Zha Bor. I think she is pretty cool, to think that she is blogging despite her age! If i were her grandson, i would be super proud of her. At least she blogs her real self out, not fake herself.

Blog advertisements. Does it really work? I mean, i realised that more and more blogs are engaged in "Sponsored advertorial". Let me just clear this:

Advertorial [ad-ver-tawr-ee-uhl, -tohr-] : an extended newspaper or magazine text advertisement that promotes the advertiser's product or services or special point of view but resembles an editorial in style and layout.

And there is no need to put "sponsored" at the front;it is understood that advertisements are paid and not written out of freewill. Or rather, it wouldn't be an advertisement if it is free. And to those poor corporate company thinking that their advertisements really reaches the mass, think again.

I'm sorry- i shall not comment about them, i put advertisements too.. haha!

But yea, sometimes i was skimming these ads, i realised it's getting very draggy and often i would fall asleep. I guess it is a good bed time story if i cannot fall asleep. HAHA!

Shu Fen's Birthday
I forgot if i have blogged about this, but anyway... Celebrated shu fen's birthday at Settler's. Some where in between chinatown and clarke quay. Very fun. Nice food too! Anyway, i shan't keep this a secret anymore. Rather than having a dumb spokesman telling everyone on my behalf... I like her.

Don't worry, i never go into the floating stadium. Just a pitty. My school actually invited people to join as the NDP usher. They have got bombastic name for these people. Really. But the job was just ushering. LOL! Unfortunately, i cannot join due to work. Anyhoo, no fish prawn also good. Zheng Yan and I went watching Fireworks. We ended up studying nothing. LOL!

Okie, let me teach you guys something new today. Totality, nothing to do with maths, totality is occurs when the moon fully covers the sun, despite the moon being smaller than the sun by a few times. This happens only because earth's distance makes it perfect for the moon to look exactly the same size as the sun. The weirdest thing about totality eclipse is, despite being covered fully by the moon, there are lights around the moon. It's a once in very few chances that u get to see totality.

Anyway, last friday watched The Dark Knight with zheng yan. DAMN NICE! You should watch. The movie is 2 and a half hours long. Worth the money. It's a long movie, plus it's nice story. Went and ate at this billy bombers. OMG I SPENT A FREAKING 30 BUCKS! The serving was humongous. All chicken meal.. I guess i'm going to have chicky-phobia soon. :S But overall, food was fantastic. except the Cut-it-yourself part. It's really a pain in the neck.

u know.. i am really sick and tired already. i am very tired of acting happy when the fact that i am not. i am tired of being harrassed by ppl who wants me to help them to do things. i am tired of having to see things in other's angle. I mean why in the world am i doing all these? Why in the world am i trying to accomodate others when others dun even think about me? After all, it doesn't benefit me a bit. Lucky for me, i learnt a couple of stuff from my customers who did what they did to us, the staff. Yup, i am going to start sorting things out.

I'm so going to speak my heart out today. I am not helping people i do not want to help. If you want me to help u, make me feel like it is worth my help. Don't make me feel like a tool. I am not YOUR tool, i dun have to answer you when you ask me. You know, the problem is, people only nudge me in msn when they have a question. What about the rest of the time? So what am i? A quick remedy to solve YOUR problem? I have enough problems of my own! And to make things worse, when i needed help... everyone in my contact list seems to be invisible. Anyway, is u need my help, why should i be looking at your mood in the first place? i dun need your help. make this clear.

Firstly, i really love july. I FINALLY PASSED MY DRIVING TEST! HOOO! I love tester Tan.

But this is something i hate... EXAM!!!! Although i hate the DBMS and ECOM part, i think that overall, this is the first time the exam timetable is so well planned. Others were like playing mind games... Everyday count down till the last paper... LOL!

Just came home from work. freakingly tired. It's like so late already. the bus was so quiet until this bunch of idiots came into the bus. They talk like nobody's business, blast their music. i think the only difference between me and R2D2, a robot, is just that i'm made of flesh, and r2d2 made of metal.

I'm really very tired and stressed up. Everyday is about assignment submission, ICAs, and to worsen it, it's when the ICAs clashes.

Next thursday, I have to memorise all the e-commerce stuff for the morning.. And delete it straight away and start thinking about biz comm. This is especially irritating. I am beginning to hate my life. I don't like where i am working. Not because of the people. But because of the job nature. I hate to interact with customer. But no choice, i need the money. I don't like what i am studying, because it is really stressful. I hate it when i always have to rush for everything.

unfortunately, as a human, i have to be realistic and practical. How much i hate my job, i have to struggle to survive. For my future, i have to study what i dun like to get the good pay. How i wish life can be made simple =(

I don't know what has gone wrong with me, but all my ICAs were Ds. I guess i really need to stop working..

Anyway, was really very angry with my school helpdesk yesterday. I almost wrote a letter to the director. Firstly, our helpdesk has the most unwilling assistant, a pig (choo). He's super lazy and tries to deny all duty.

The rest were great. They are friendly, they tried their best to help us. Unfortunately, their one mistake made me very upset and i really feel like, URGH! SLAP U GUYS!... The helpdesk actually lost my ezlink card. Not only that, they tried denying responsibilities la! And the worst thing is they did not even bother to help me lodge a police report. Forget about the replacement cost, forget about the single trip ticket, i mean... What happens if somebody used my card to make a loan? And as expected, the person really did something to my card. My card from 1 dollar plus, became negative 1 dollar plus. What is this -.-

Thank god, my card was returned. So let's close the case. Now i wonder who do i claim my fees from -.-

Went to singapore expo with Carson today because the food fare ends today! OMG, we spent a total of over 80 bucks at the food fare alone! In the end, i look like some old auntie, YES AUNTIE!!! cause i got loads of bags and it is really heavy. SERIOUSLY.

U know the only thing great about working for TelCo? Is that u get to know the latest promotions a few hours before everyone else. Guess what, it is actually a bad thing too. Because here i am, beating my heart, thinking: "WA PIANG, WHY I SO FAST UPGRADE MY PHONE" =.=

The happiest thing about working in telco is that whenever you have satisfied customers served by you walk out of the shop and thank you especially so if they compliment you for providing them with excellent service etc.. But on the contrary, sometimes u really feel like slapping those customers. These are sensitive informations, sometimes i really want to rant in my blog. But no, i would rather have my rice bowl and endure with it. Sigh...

w880 selling at $0 for 2 years contract, sob sob.. there goes my chance to upgrade..

6 Trials..

Finally, the whole tiring thing is about to end.. We were one of the earliest to end our games. Sat at Blk N to rest for a while, and we continued ice breaking. This time round, they finally interact more. I think this is really some achievements for us because we finally get them to interact. We played several games like the sa-sa-fan-sa game.. YEA THANKS A LOT PEEPS -.- ALL COW AND CAPTAIN ME -.- Later we combined with 0804 to play games. We played the sa-sa game and the pass it! Damn funny.. check out cheryl's blog for the pass it video....

Forget it, i'll just rip it from cheryl.. LOL

Day 3 was even more exciting. The class met up in the morning to had breakfast.. In the end, ONLY THE OGLs were having breakfast -.- But still they took the initiative to come early.. it's something really nice to hear...

Okie, decided to blog already.. HAHA... anyhoo, removed the pathetic timetable already. Everytime i see i feel very sad.
Alrighty, went HK over the holidays for 4 short days.. I know,very short. The weather is like, OMG.. I'm IN LOVE WITH THEIR WEATHER! Air-con weather, just like that time when i go Taiwan.. I'll let the pictures do the talking =)

For our first day, we went around everywhere.. My uncle brought us around. At night, my auntie "took over" and we continued to shop shop shop. Wow, HK is REALLY crowded. Everywhere is like squeezy.... At night, everyone gathered up to have dinner.

It's actually a bus terminus or something.. But their road is a bit messy.. Singapore's slightly better.. At least ours not so bumpy. I had a hard time sleeping in their bus. LOL!

But they do have their good points la.. Like they have detailed arrival time.. etc..

and even which direction to lookout for when crossing. Oh, they don't have zebra crossing. That's what i thought.. After asking, my uncle said that they don't have as much as we do. But some places do have.

But they have traffic lights almost everywhere.. And super high tech.. Singapore's press. Theirs are TOUCH!!

Unlike us, their gear lever is like... very weird!!! Later i realised oh, it was actually the older version. We don't have it in Singapore anymore.

Happy thing, I FINALLY DID A FULL MAINTENANCE ON MY LAPTOP!!! Unfortunately, it is still as slow as it is... Yay! Finally all projects cleared. Now i have to take a good rest and gear up for the scary one.. EXAM!!! Oh man.. They really don't know how to schedule examinations. Anyway, celebrated my mum and sis's birthday at my sister's house. They fall on the same day. Went there to stay. My sister cooked and she bought ice cream cake. So hard to cut la.

And went for chalet with the class's boys. Had liquor until we drop dead. All of us were high, especially michael. Ate a lot of food la! My few days of gym went down the drain. =( Anyway, the east coast chalet is officially off my list. Blacklisted for life. Facilities are so bad. We have to actually manually turn the blade! Look:

and the doors cannot be locked!!! What rubbish!? The toilet stinks. AND THE FLOOR IS STICKY and GREASY. The bed looked cleanest IMHO. The good thing was, our surrounding was nice. And i meant the outside, the scenery. Anyhoo, i will continue in part 2.. very sleepy =S

yesterday went on a shopping spree! Stupid ben ps me -.-
I met carson and went to Vivo. Nick claimed that he saw me.. And i think i had deja vu that nick was telling me he saw me in some shopping centre.. I bought a shirt, 2 pairs of jeans. 1 cargo and 1 jean. Spent about 100 SGD.. *Heartaches*

Went The Cafe Cartel to eat. They have this 12 dollars promos. The rib was humongous.
We had unlimited servings of bread. Totalled $128.55 was spent yesterday.

Friday went to Vivo with nick, mike, jun kai, ken, yida, daryl and jake. Went G2000 to see see. Very cheap, but i dun see any that i like, yet. Went NUM cuz nick wanted to get the flip flop. Went Carl's junior to lunch after that. Gosh, was damn full. And gues what, by the time we finished eating, we realised we're left with very little time to get to school. End up we cab to school. $12.80 plus 30 cents surcharge for using NETS.

there are 7 kinds of people i hate. But i'm going to PRIVATE STATIC VOID 2 groups of these ppl due to some sensitive cross-border issue and racial comments.

#3 Cash Deposit Machine Hoggers
Some people just LOVE to hog the deposit machine. I don't mind if you are depositing just 1 piece of $10 or doing some big transaction. But some people, i don't know if they are just pure crazy. They just want to HOG the bleedy machine and slowly deposit them piece by piece as if the whole machine belongs to them.

#4 MRT door bouncer.
This is another group of dumb ass. I hate them. for those taking 1 stop, fine i close my eyes. There are some people who just love to block the entrance of other people. In the end, the area around the door is always crampy and so squeezy. Please, for god's sake, just move towards the center. What do you guys think you are? God? Or the owner of SMRT ah? Please -.- You're not Temasek Holding's Director.

#5 Rush for HELL!!!
Well, some asses thought they bought a "LIMO" from SMRT and they own the whole platform. So they will NEVER allow anyone to alight and step on their platform. Please for god's sake, ALLOW OTHER COMMUTERS TO ALIGHT FIRST. how does it feel to alight and got pushed back in the train instead? Everyone is in a rush. If you know you're going to be late, wake up earlier la. So not considerate.

#6 fat asses.
And i don't refer to those who are bigger size than normal people. I understand that some people are double the size of a normal person. I also understand that some people are like me, very lazy and want to try to get a seat even if it is very small. Fine. I just hate it when some ah pek think that they pay for 3 seats in the train and start taking more than what their ass requires. I saw an uncle block the seat 1 with hand, 1 with his ass and 1 with his leg. He thought he's the model of the year and pose for cameras to shoot him la. -.- Please la, you're ugly.

#7 lazy pigs.
I'm talking about a bleedy pig (Mr Choo, you should be known as Mr Pig, suits you more. Nono, calling you pig is an insult for those being insulted as pigs) Please la, you get paid. SO DO YOUR DUTY LA. The school pay you to work, not pay you to tell the students that these are not the technical helpdesk's problem. God bless you. Hope you can have a stable rice bowl here. Went count down this year, it's kinda like my first time! Went with ken and ken asked a couple of his friends to join us. I wouldn't say it was very high because we ended sitting at the balcony =( But it was fun! Benjamin and Carson joined us for movie and dinner. We watched Alvin and the Chipmunks! They're cute! Went pastamania after that. Oh please, don't bring me to pastamania anymore...

Ben and carson left after that for their own count down.. Met zheng yan. Well, my first time going out with him! God, i scared bad things will happen to him. Later his dad sue me!!! Just kidding, his dad was erm.. never mind.. Went Toys r'us after that to play with toys!!! Yippie!

Half-way through, ken and his friends were up there, some garden thingy in vivo la.. you know what i mean.. and i asked zheng yan to accompany me to eat Haagen Daz! Man, nice food are always expensive. Was enjoying my food halfway until some IDIOTS came and ate all of my ice cream! Some more drip on his own pants. 死变态.

Right, stayed at home in the morning and did a mass Merry Xmas over all the blogs. Psss, i've added links so if your blog is not linked by me, do leave me a tag and let me know your address. HAHA!
Went to bugis junction with ben and carson after that.. hate them. always eat and throw me alone. When i ask them to eat they will say full. When i not around they say very hungry always like that..
After that we went to look for some test tube thingy and ended up in IMM. Shopped till 10plus 11 to wait for sok cheng. Hui min they all coming to my house to stay overnight to "count down" for christmas which apparently they only arrived after 12mn. Had to call them to count down instead, LOL!

Stupid ben and carson fly kite again. Refused to come and stay with me, yanwz.

YAY! Merry Christmas!
Stayed at home the whole day hoping that someone will ask me out. In the end, got pang sehed again. People go orchard and jurong point never jio lor... Luckily got pearl play msn game with me.. LOL!

Happy birthday, clown.. benjamin's finally 18! He's FINALLY legal after my birthday has passed for almost a year... LOL!

Went BBDC with ben and carson. Again i was pang sehed. Ppl go eat pastamania nv jio me. Make me alight at gombak den travel to cck. See, everytime i not around they hungry. Everytime i ask them want go eat or not they will be super full. Hmm.. maybe i'm fat so looked filling?

Carson said he doesn't want a license, he's contradicting himself. End up benjamin want to sign up and he also sign up. And benji complained to me that carson just want to have the same schedule as ben, so he gave him the password and everything. So officially ben is now not only his husband, but also his PA.

Today ben asked me to go work. Unfortunately, i saw the message too late. Carson snatched my duty :crying: (Just kidding, u should know, as long as there is benjamin, carson will be around. Nothing new nor surprising).

Right, a few days later and it will be 2008, so...

Went to pray in the morning with my mum at Jurong West. Somewhere near Ben's previous house. Went to Jurong Point to shop with her before going to collect my phone. Anyway, we went to swensens to eat. They are having this new promo for christmas. Some turkey thingy. It tasted just like chicken -.- Anyway, the manager made me felt like a privilleged customer. I was asking for a bill and the waitress said in a very nice tone that her colleague will serve me in a moment. After that, her colleague came with a bill and request that i check if the amount and the food i ordered was correct. I slot in my card and closed the booklet for a while before she came back and collect the payment. She told me to wait for the change. After a while, a man in white came to me and said, "You're Mr. Aloysius Ong yea? Ok, Mr Ong, can you please sign here, and here?". I felt quite privillege to be known as Mr Ong. I don't mean it is anything special, but for swensens, this was the first time. In addition, they were quite friendly and they made my dining very meaningful. Unlike other swensens which really spoilt my appetite. Whatever, i really hate the swiper machine that all merchant has. They spoilt my card and made lots of scratches.. :angry: Went on a shopping spree after that. I thought, maybe i can buy some stuff from giodarno since i am a member and would be given discount. Plus, the reopening sale! CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT SALE! WOOT! SALES EVERYWHERE! I bought a shirt and 2 pairs of shorts. But the quality dropped a lot. Their pants and very thin. Nick went on a holiday, asked him to get me a pair of jeans from levi's if it is cheap. Like SGD 50-60. It's holiday and i wasted a week mapling =( But well, NICK PICKED UP MAPLE! LOL! :laughing:

I shall start writing about past events which i don't even remember when.. LOL.

Went to Vila'ge with carson after work. Realised that the food is not getting worse, just that we are too sick of it. SOME MORE NO DISCOUNT! IDIOT! What rubbish eve. Sian, but now i know my card will be entitled 10% Haha, good thing i did not let my 24SGD went down the drain.

Carson was too high, wanted to go The Balcony Bar try try. Anyway, wasn't really thinking of going home so early either, so i joined him. It was our first time there, and the manager was nice to recommend what kind of vodka was nice. We ordered a jug of Belvedere with sprite as the mixer. I guess i can't touch liqour. I felt dizzy after drinking. guess i cannot drive when i drink =(
